Executive Director

Kate Lewis - LCSW

Clarity Wellness Community offers a cascade of support, positivity, and understanding to everyone who walks through our doors.  Kate Lewis’ commitment to Clarity’s Mission to empower people with care, connections, and support for a lifetime of choice made her the natural choice as our next Executive Director.  The Board of Directors looks forward to working with Kate Lewis in the New Year.

Kate Lewis started with Clarity in December of 2012 and worked as PROS Program Director until 2016 at which time she was promoted to Director of Clinical Operations.  In 2018, Kate Lewis was promoted to Associate Executive Director where she worked until January 2021.  After serving as Behavioral Health Service Line Director at Arnot Health in Elmira, Kate chose to return to Clarity as Executive Director effective Jan. 1, 2022.

Kate Lewis received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Brockport New York and her Master of Social Work with Mental Health, Health & Disability Concentration from the University of Buffalo.

Kate Lewis has extensive experience working with Behavioral Health.  Not only does Kate Lewis have great relationships with other agencies in the community but she has also had active participation in regional and statewide planning groups helping set strategic vision for policy development.  

 

Kate Lewis said of returning to Clarity, “I’m grateful for the opportunity to return to Clarity and work with such a talented, compassionate, and dedicated group of people. Together, I am certain that we will continue to promote Clarity’s mission by supporting and empowering people on their path to wellness in all of the communities we serve.”
