About the Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Advanced technical support at the network level: LAN/WAN connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless

· Technical expert involving Microsoft’s core business applications (AD, DNS, Print Services, File Sharing, etc.),Office 365, Azure, Sharepoint, VMware Virtualization, and Client Operating Systems

· Maintain internal and/or client-facing documentation as changes or knowledge is found

· Manage and monitor internal systems to ensure uptime and security, including server backups.

· Handle IT help desk service requests through email or phone

· Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution

· Create accounts and configure hardware as part of on-boarding process

· Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms

· Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records

· Responsible for implementing, managing, and enforcing information security directives as mandated by HIPAA

· Other duties may be added and/or assigned as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

· 3 years of experience in a similar supporting role

· Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately

· Service awareness of all organization’s key IT services for which support is being provided

· Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services

· Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment

· Windows Server and Operating Systems, Mac OS X

· Office 365 administration

· VMware

· Active Directory Maintenance

· Mac and PC hardware

· Printers, scanners, computer peripherals

· Mobile devices (iOS, Android)

· Network, Wireless, Firewall Maintenance and configuration

· File and print server knowledge

· Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills

· Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users

Educational Requirements

Associate Degree with 2 years of experience or combined 4 years’ experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.50 per hour
