Assistant Program Director, PROS


Currently seeking a Full Time Assistant Program Director.

HOURS: Full Time – 40 Hours

(days and hours will be discussed during the interview)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with adults (age 18+) who are experiencing mental and behavioral health concerns by providing direct services geared toward achieving recovery plan goals and objectives of PROS participants. Will provide direct services in individual and group modalities to PROS participants enrolled in CRS, Clinic, ORS and IR components. Assist Program Director in assuring an active process of program evaluation and quality assurance. Provide clinical/administrative coverage as needed in the absence of the Program Director. Assist with orienting, training, and supervising new staff members and interns. Assistant Program Director will work toward increasing a person’s capacity to live independently by facilitating and coordinating with other service providers and natural community supports.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree and licensure in one of the following professions required: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC. At least 3 years of experience in mental health or psychiatric rehabilitation setting. Must have knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatments, and rehabilitation. Strong computer abilities and proficiency with electronic medical records. Must have a valid driver’s license.

HOURS: Full Time/40 Hours
RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical Counselor III works independently in a dynamic clinical setting providing a variety of counseling, rehabilitation, and support services. The clinician works with children, adolescents, adults, or families who are experiencing behavioral health concerns. The main duties include: Completing face to face initial assessments to determine medical necessity for treatment, conducting face-to-face individual psychotherapy sessions or therapeutic groups, developing individualized treatment plans by conferring with the person being served and other essential individuals to promote optimum mental and emotional health. Counselors work toward increasing a person’s capacity to live independently by facilitating and coordinating with other service providers and natural community supports. Duties may require involvement in community outreach and advocacy. QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed Clinical Social Worker with at least 5 years of experience in mental health setting and some experience with clinical supervision. Preferred certification or extensive training in at least 3 or more approaches. Must have a valid driver’s license. Use of personal vehicle may be necessary.

Home Based Crisis Intervention Specialist


RESPONSIBILITIES: The Home-Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) services provide intensive and time-limited therapeutic interventions and supports to individuals with mental illness and substance abuse disorders. Will serve high-risk families and provide services primarily in client homes. Will develop and maintain a positive, collegial working relationship with family members. Will ensure all records comply with the NYS OMH and the Utilization Review Specialist quality of care guidelines. Will be serving within Steuben, Livingston, and Allegany counties. Vehicle is provided QUALIFICATIONS: A master’s degree in social work or a related mental health field with 2 years experience working with youth preferred, or A bachelor’s degree in social work or a related mental health field and 3 years of experience. Strong computer abilities are a must. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Adult Health Home Care Manager


RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the provision of client services and link clients to the community service system in order to assure that persons with a severe and persistent mental illness, addiction issues, chronic physical health problems, and/or other health problems and/or minor mental health issues are afforded every opportunity to receive services and support with the goal of the persons to live successfully within their communities. Assists the clients by providing comprehensive and integrated case management services through monthly contact and collaboration with service providers and family supports. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field with two years of experience. Must have ability to work independently, organize and prioritize workday, manage time in an efficient manner, and maintain accurate and organized documentation. Must possess computer efficiency necessary for EMR documentation and maintaining state reports. Preferred knowledge of human service agencies in Allegany County and surrounding areas. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Leave Accruals


Vacation leave is accrued at the rate of one day per month, to a maximum accrual of 24 days.Sick leave is accrued at the rate of one day per month, to a maximum accrual of 40 days. Clarity Wellness Community offers employees 9 paid holidays and 3 floating holidays annually. Three personal leave days are accrued on the employee's anniversary date.




Health Insurance


Health insurance to full-time, regular employees. Employees may opt to enroll in a Flex Savings Account with pre-tax payroll deductions. This coverage will become effective the 1st day of the month following 30 days from the employee's full-time start date.




Dental Insurance


Dental plan for employees who work at least 20 hours per week. For those employees who elect to join this plan, premiums are deducted from the employees paycheck on a pre-tax bi-weekly basis. The coverage will become effective the 1st day of the month following 30 days from the employee's full-time start date.




Retirement Plan


401(k) Retirement Plan sponsored by T. Rowe Price. Full-time or part-time regular Clarity Wellness Community employees, who have reached the age of 21 and have completed a three month period of employment during which 500 hours was worked, are eligible to participate in the 401(k) retirement plan. The employees have the option of making a contribution (salary deferral) of up to 15% of their gross pay (within IRS guidelines). After one year of service, Clarity Wellness Community matches up to 3% at 233% of the employee's gross pay.
